Boosting wellness thanks to community

The health and wellness industry has been experiencing immense disruption due to advancements in technology. Today’s consumers are embracing wearable technologies and other activity-tracking products more than ever before. The omnipresence of the smartphone has spawned a massive market for mobile health and wellness apps.

The challenge

The Wellness Institute wanted us to propose a new mobile app that will be used by their members to track data related to wellness.

The purpose of this challenge was to analyze and find what people struggle to maintain their wellness and propose a Minium Probable Product (MVP) to solve their issues and create the product as a hi-fi interactive prototype for a mobile app.

In this context of Covid-19, the challenge seemed to be more than attractive as we are facing many obstacles due to different lockdowns and curfew situation.

Having an accountability tool to achieve health goals in this special context ?

You will discover why we didn’t chose to focus on a tracking app for this project.

The process

For this 9 days sprint, we followed these several steps to propose a final solution.

  • Primary research: survey & user interviews
  • Secondary research: market research
  • Empathy Map & HMW
  • Crazy 8 ideation
  • Feature prioritization
  • Mi-fi prototyping & Usability Testing
  • Brand attributes & moodboard
  • Style Tile
  • Hi-fi prototyping
